Custom passwords can be set for a ViewKey for added security.
To set a password for a ViewKey:
Step 1: Click on the 3-dots menu
Step 2: Select Viewkey Project Settings
Step 3: Under Password Lock ViewKey, toggle on Require a Password for the shared ViewKey
Step 4: Enter your desired password
Step 5: Click Update Project
Accessing the ViewKey will now require a password and entering an invalid password will show users a warning. Existing ViewKey links will not be changed or modified, and the password can be updated at any time.
Please note if you are using white labeling, we cannot change the logo on the password screen so password protection may need to be disabled if you do not want your clients to see our name.
